The United States currently has the most COVID-19 reported cases in the world. The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer-run site collecting data from 50 US states, the District of Columbia, and 5 other US territories to in an attempt to report positive and negative results, pending tests, and total people tested for each state or district currently reporting that data.
As you may know, the Governor of California has issued a stay at home order for all California residents in an attempt to prevent the spread of COVID-19 aka Coronavirus. The Mayor of Los Angeles has also issued a Safer-At-Home order for all Los Angeles residents, set to last until April 19, 2020. We have taken this step to cooperate with requests from our mayor and governor to do everything possible to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Our Immigration Firm Operational Response
We have taken immediate actions to support our clients, our employees and our community.
We have stepped up cleaning and sanitization at the office. We refer to the latest reports and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
We have stopped all non-essential travel and given our staff remote work options to encourage self-quarantining and social distancing. We are doing our part to help “flatten the curve” or slow the spread.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be scheduling or accepting any in-person appointments. All meetings will be conducted via phone, Zoom, Skype, or other remote conferencing technologies.
We continue to work for our clients. We are fully functional remotely and online. We use a cloud-based immigration management platform, where clients can securely upload documents to our online file storage system.
We have a robust arsenal of communication tools in place to help us seamlessly collaborate remotely with our clients whether by telephone, video, text (SMS) or email.
While our team has transitioned to remote work during the COVID-19 crisis, our staff will be filing petitions and processing applications from the office as needed. All incoming mail is being scanned and sorted in the online system for your convenience.
